If Nigerian music sensation, Wizkid’s tweets are anything to go by, he’s has actually set a date to leaving Empire State Entertainment record label for good and fully kickstart his own label, Starboy.
We remember vividly that E.M.E management made clear that Wizkid’s sophomore album, AYO was the last project the label would be working with him on, while Wizkid also made it clear at the time that his fans should anticipate a third album in 2015.
Wizkid posted the tweet which said;
‘1-12-2014 #StarBoy,’….. and we believe Wizkid might have made it known he will officially kick start projects under his own label on December 1, 2014 and his new album might just drop before the year ends.
Wizkid already has signed artist L.A.X to his label alongside some producers as well. Whatever will be
happening on the 1st of December, 2014, we have our arms crossed and anticipating alongside his fans.
