The artiste who left Lady Gaga because he thinks she has reached the peak of her career, was reported to have been in a giant bubble while performing at a concert in Goma, DRC. This obviously is to prevent coming into contact with people who may infect him with the Ebola virus.

The successful US hip hop and R&B artist was reported to have performed in the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s city of Goma as part of the country’s International Day of Peace celebrations last month.
News have however gone around internationally stating that Akon might have performed the way he did for a bizarre reason, which was attributed to his attempts at avoiding Ebola infection. Here’s the flier for the event:

The singer however did not make it known that he pulled the stunt because of Ebola fears as many have speculated. What also made many to talk about the performance was that this wasn’t the first time that Akon crowdsurfed in the contraption.
It would be recalled that the singer, who is one of the most successful and influential musicians of African descent, was said to be out with a plan to bring electricity to a million African households, through a project tagged ‘Akon Lighting Africa’.
