The Relationship Between Your Intention, Attention & Action - Sydney Ugbe

This is a powerful process that guarantees success in business and other endeavours of one’s life.
You will agree with me that success in life does not come by chance or by mere wishing, those who believed it wished they didnt. Things don’t just happen, for anything to happen it must pass through a process, and every product we enjoy had gone the process of production before they turned out beautiful as they are. Success in life works the same, it takes a process.

James Author Ray talked about the intention attention balance in one of his presentations, he explained how when one creates balance between his intention and attention, experience harmony in their lives and achieve great result.
Let’s take a look the process closely, the first step is intention. What do you want to do? You must first have a clear idea of what you want to achieve. Much has been written about vision and I don’t think it’s enough though. Before a child can be born, a seed must be placed inside a woman for her to be conceived, and so to achieve anything of worth you must have a clear picture of what you want, you have to so that you can recognize it when you see it.
Now, it does't end there, you have to focus (Attention) on that one thing you want (Intention). It is said that where ever your treasure is there your heart will be also. If you treasured your vision then place your attention on it, one thing that does for you is: it attracts the energy and other relevant resources you will need to achieve your desired result.
What are you focusing on right now, is it on your intention? Action, and it caps up everything we have been talking, otherwise all the effort will yield not fruit.
A farmer who intends to have bountiful harvest at the end of the season and focuses all his attention on that one goal will definitely attract all energy needed but without taking action by planting and cultivating there cant be a bountiful harvest. So you see, most people face this dilemma and conclude that success and happiness is for some selected few. That is why I say it takes more an idea to start a business you must have the guts to take action even in the face of fear and uncertainty. Being brave is not by thinking brave, it is by acting brave, you don’t feel your way to acting, act your way to feeling, because you might not feel like taking action sometimes.
So to recap, have a clear picture of what you want, then focus on that picture and take action. Success will become inevitable.
Remain creative until we meet next week Monday.
