Jay Z & Beyonce: Reportedly Using Time Apart As Trial Separation

While Beyonce, 32, was in Australia for her Mrs. Carter tour, Jay Z visited her at a private resort to reportedly keep their marriage afloat.
Bey didn’t have an issue with Jay, 43, going on tour with Justin Timberlake over the summer, but she assumed that he would at least take the initiative to accompany her and their 19-month-old daughter, Blue Ivy, on her overseas tour. However, he instead chose to schedule a tour at the same time as hers, a conflict which led to a report that Beyonce felt Jay Z wasn’t putting his family first. The “Bow Down” singer was even reportedly considering a separation to keep Jay in check.
“She told him he was selfish,” an insider told Star magazine. “Beyonce has been letting her husband know he’s on shaky ground, and she’s using the time they spend apart as a trial separation.”
