Former Manchester United coach and most successful British manager of all time, Sir Alex ferguson was honoured recently by the Borough when former Waters Reach, a road that runs alongside United's stadium was renamed Six Alex Ferguson Way. He was also given the freedom of the borough - A traditional honour given to people to recognise their status within a town or city.
